The Nutcracker Market is a festive and philanthropic shopping experience supporting sick and disadvantaged children

The Nutcracker Market features thousands of items from local artisans under one roof: jewelry and accessories, beauty, gourmet, home decorations, toys, with 10% of sales going to Les Grands Ballets’ Nutcracker Fund.

The fund allows 2,800 sick and disadvantaged children each year to attend a performance of The Nutcracker for free, as well as allowing 1,500 among them to participate in educational workshops.

The Fund also supports the annual refurbishment of sets and costumes for the classic holiday ballet.

The Nutcracker Market,which last year year saw more than 80,000 visitors, will run from, November 29th to December 9th, on the ground floor of the Palais des congrès de Montréal.  Admission is free.
