A huge festival in celebration of the vulva arrives in Montreal on the weekend of June 8 and 9.
The second edition of FestiVulve honors the beauty and natural diversity of a part of the human body, which according to organizers is too sternly judged and misunderstood.
“It is an open and inclusive event to raise awareness among the general public about topics we do not talk about,” stated FestiVulve.
The 2-day festival features conferences, exhibitors, DJ’s, shows, and workshops to address topics, as the difference between a vulva and a vagina, positive menstruation, contraception, sexual health, abortion, natural childbirth, naturism, asexuality, instinctive flow free, the famous pubic hair, desire, pleasure, masturbation, sexual orientation, slow sex, equality of enjoyment…
Moreover, the Vulva Booth will be set up to allow women who are game to have their vulva photographed and included in a contemporary portrait of the beauty and natural diversity of the vulva – Project Vulva.
