Cat accidentally shipped to Montreal in a parcel is back home with his Nova Scotia family

After an accidental trip via courier service hidden in a package containing a tire rim, Baloo, a one-year-old tabby, is back home safely with his family.

The tabby had crawled into a box bound for Alberta more than a week ago. Purolator employees discovered the cat in Montreal and called the local SPCA, which tracked down its owners.

After searching for four days, the Lake family started to lose hope that he was going to come back, when they got the call.

Volunteers from the organization Freedom Drivers relayed Baloo back home.
