Montreal’s great dining, nightlife, festivals, and beautiful people shape our city, but the crown jewel, without a doubt is gorgeous Mount Royal.
You and your family, friends, can share in the beauty of your mountain, by collecting waste and recovering residual materials in the wooded areas of Mount Royal Park.
The annual Clean-Up hosted by Les amis de la montagne, takes place Sunday, May 5. Registration is done on the day of the Clean-Up at the Mount Royal Chalet from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Places are limited and are based on a first come, first served.
Nothing is more memorable than a smell. One scent can be unexpected, momentary and fleeting, yet conjure up a childhood summer beside a lake in the mountains

This year’s event promotes the principles of the zero waste movement by not only collecting trash but also the sorting and management of materials.
Participants will be grouped into teams of 15, all the necessary equipment, including gloves, will be provided. A healthy snack will be offered to all participants.
In the spirit of zero waste, organizers invite participants to bring a zero-waste picnic and wear their t-shirt from a previous edition of the Clean-Up.
