In Griffintown last Friday a chunk of ice mixed with concrete and rocks crashed through the cars closed sunroof and struck Kristine Bernard on the head, who was riding in the passenger seat. According to police, contractors were removing the accumulated ice when the chunk of ice bounced off the safety net installed on the side of the building.
Paramedics Bernard took to the hospital where she was treated for a possible concussion and given a tetanus shot. Bernard and her boyfriend who was driving at the time of the incident are considering legal action.
