Firefighters rescued a man who fell into 20 meter hole in downtown Montreal

Yesterday morning a man fell into a 20-meter (65′.6″) hole at the corner of Wellington and Peel Streets in downtown Montreal.

According to Journal de Montréal, the man, allegedly climbed the fence of a construction site and fell, suffering non-life-threatening injuries to his legs and hips.

Firefighters from the Montreal Fire Department had to hoist the man from the hold before transferring him to the hospital.
