Close to one million lights adorn the heritage buildings, trees, and fences of Upper Canada Village for its annual Alight at Night Festival.
The festival is Eastern Ontario’s biggest outdoor light celebration and remains open till January 05.
You can stroll though town or take in the sights and sounds aboard an old-fashioned horse-drawn wagon ride which is included with the cost of admission.
Also included are rides on the Toy Train for a round trip through Crysler Park. There is also a new vintage, 1965 carousel for the young visitors.
For romantics, you can cuddle up with a private tour of the lights on one of the Village’s two Pommier Carriages or take a break on the mistletoe loveseat.
