Residents of Ville-Marie borough in Montreal cringed Monday morning when they saw reports of infractions that had been left on their windshields by mistake.
At least 31 parking tickets worth $62 were issued on Montgomery Street, between Ontario and Rouen streets, on Sunday night.
Signs prohibiting parking on a street must be installed before 3 pm on the day of snow removal that takes place between 7 pm and 7 am.
The Borough of Ville-Marie has already asked the Montreal police to withdraw these tickets, according to Courchesne. If you believe you received one of the tickets contact the city at 311.
