Photo: ‘Quarantine’ – People at the Cooper Building in Plateau Montreal Not Allowed to Leave

The fire department has ordered the people at the Cooper Building to remain behind the red tape which was just added a few minutes ago.

According to sources, white powder was found on the 4th floor of Cooper building on St. Lawrence Blvd. in Plateau Montreal just before 2 p.m.

The streets in the area have been blocked off to traffic and pedestrians and the people working at the Cooper building were told as a precaution they could not leave the building.

A few minutes later Franco, the natural grocery and coffee shop next door, which a direct link to the Cooper building was also locked down and the staff and customers told they were not allowed to leave.

Around 3.30 p.m. has the hazardous team left the cooper building, the employees and people were allowed to leave the buildings.
