Report Finds Montreal Working Women Take Home 21.5 Per Cent Less Income Than Men

In this years Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives report on the best and worst places to be a woman in Canada, the findings show Montreal Women take home in income 78.5% of what men take home.
The report looks at 26 cities and identifies areas of strength and weakness. While Montreal women’s average employment income was up 8.6% over 2012, reaching $29,300, there remains a disparity when compared to men’s average earnings of $37,340.
