This Sunday from 8 AM until midnight you can ride a Bixi bike for FREE

To celebrate the start of its 11th season, Montreal’s public bicycle sharing system Bixi is offering free rentals for this coming Sunday, April 14 from 8 a.m. until Midnight.

Launched in 2009 Bixi is North America’s first large-scale bike sharing system. This year the network is expanding with the addition of 1,000 more bicycles to its armada, and six new stations in the following boroughs: Anjou, Lachine, Montréal-Nord, St-Laurent, and St-Léonard.

The FREE day provides an opportunity to dust off the winter cobwebs from your hamstrings and gluteus maximus.
